bangbangblonde asked: Hi! I've heard of a museum in London where there's a life-size model of Charles II. Do you by any chance know of it? I keep googling it but I can't find it anywhere :(

thestuartkings asked: I was wondering if you were aware of, or had seen the 2008 Edinburgh comedy show by Bridget Christie (Mrs Stewart Lee) entitled 'The Court of King Charles II' where she dressed up as various characters of the time, including Charlie himself. Apparently she based the show around him because she'd always liked him (and had been told she looked like him). ???

Q&A?
Because of reasons. Send me some stuff and get replies in one of two varieties: snarky or creepily enthusiastic!
Questions on Charles II, history in general, or why I’m such a massive creeper are all welcome. And if you want to troll me as Oliver Cromwell, like the asks I got the other day, anon messaging is switched on.
I’m currently in the office pretending to be a normal human...

Anonymous asked: I am sorry about my last message. I have reconsidered and realised that hate is also sinful, as is taking pleasure in judging others. I shall be whipping myself as punishment as soon as I have sent this and hope you shall forgive me for my transgression, sinful denizen of the internet though you are.

Anonymous asked: I do love the King of Bling song, but the lines you just reblogged make me sad, because, well-- contemporary accounts prove Olly WAS pretty jolly. I mean he was an altogether very cheery guy, all things considered.

Woke up this morning to 150 followers
I never knew Charles II had so many fans. When I started this blog it was a way to avoid spamming everyone from my personal who didn’t care- which, as far as I was concerned, would be nearly everybody. Apparently I was wrong, and I’m not the only Restoration nerd on Tumblr.
Anyway, thank you! I’m sure Charlie would be very pleased to know how much people still love him <3
